Although you can be surprised. After my father-in-law gave our almost 2-year old daughter a slice of good aged sharp cheddar, she turned her nose up at Kraft Singles for a little while.

I need to pack still for my week on the road. Not particularly motivated.

(a) I think a good piece of haddock, or a big fat trout would do the trick

(b) where are you going? Are you doing MRs?

 Photog72, wash your mouth out with soap. That poor girl. She is probably a very sweet young girl who has suffered all her life because of her weight. Naughty, naughty Photog72. OK. Done with the dressing down. Still like ya!

Indeed. Hard to top a good real parmesan (I think we sell parm wedges under the DiGiorno name - not sure if that got sold off with our pizza biz when we bought Cadbury).

People like to associate us with all of the processed cheese (velveeta, etc), but we do make some pretty good stuff:

For those of you in the greater NYC area, the fresh mozzarella they're referring to is Pollio (Fior di Latte, IIRC).

I buy the Pollio fresh mozzarella when I want to make lasagna. I don't put ricotta in my lasagna, so I double up the mozzarella. Yummeh!

Good morning Box. Appears the dog ate my breakfast.

I so wish Chase would give miles for money orders.

Dam that was great while it lasted.

That doesn't seem fair at all. Though I was just thankful that I didn't have to get the broom out to, "encourage" the dog to get out from under the bed and go outside. :-:

Huge +1. My mother does little tiny meatballs too. ^^^

That is so cool. I wish I'd seen it before Easter. I would have had LittleMissBrit and MissTeenBrit make some for our Easter lunch party.

Ohhh! Yummy!

I don't like ricotta cheese hot. I like it cold, but I have to mix something into it to give it flavor.

I'm using the nice weather these days to keep the dogs outside on a rather permanent basis. Rather sad to see four sad faces peering in the window.. but I get over it quickly. :D

Cold front moved through last night. ^

Came downstairs and it was 72 in the house. I opened the windows and doors and it's down to 67 and still dropping. ^:D:cool:

:td:

I still haven't fully thawed out from the winter.

ETA: Canuck got our electric bill for last month in the mail the other day and commented on the "pretty significant drop" in power usage. Apparently she failed to consider that we were without power for 4 days last month.

Ugh! It's about the only food available on the Bolivian side of Titicaca. They eat Trucha for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The only other choice is chicken, and it's fried in the same giant cast-iron cooker of oil as the trout (so you can guess how it tastes).
