Generally Hyatt is very customer friendly, so I imagine the corporate folks will at least attempt to make it right.

Hotel shenanigans.

Too bad you were actually using your room otherwise you could have played Let's Make a Deal....I give you the room, you refund me but I still earn my points.

I earned an extra 12k points, or the equivalent point redemption for the night, for the hotel's "mistake". Not bad for a $79 room (after Costco certificate).

When selecting air for the package that I was dummy booking I noticed that PHL-IAH and reverse were getting lots of 752 love. I can't tell if that's a good or bad thing. PHL used to be a little bit of an oil route because of the large Sunoco presence at Eagle Point right across the river. Sunoco is closing that refinery. Is the shift in capacity good because of more demand for seats or is it bad since the 752 means a reduction in F capacity instead of 20-seat 737's? That might (shudder) be an interesting question for the main forum.

Aha!

FWIW, in the year since such things started being applicable in my life, I've never scored a PHL-IAH upgrade.

I have to pick up two very small items at the grocery store. I think today makes it necessary to do so on a bicycle rather than a car...

I wonder if it's just a summer utilization thing and trying to get more Y pax on a single flight.

I was under the impression that all domestic 752 flying was utilization-related. Most of the new Hawaii routes are on the 737-700/900.

My boss very .

I call up Delta to rebook segments on an open reward. The stupid system refuses to authorize me. I get transferred to an agent.

Said agent refuses to help me because the system refused to authorize me. She failed to listen that the system refused to authorize me and refuses to help and then ends up transferring me.

Delta sucks.

That's why I spent all my miles two months ago and dropped from Plat to Kettle. My last series of flights on DL, however, went very smoothly.

As long as they aren't "beverage" induced that's good news:rolleyes:

Yeah, you're right, I was just thinking that somewhere other than Philly might be better served (UIO, BOG, etc.)

I question the statement about Flat LittleMissBrit and the drunken hooligans.;) I had to do a Flat Kenny for my nephew. Dragged him all across New York State and down to the city where we(Flat Kenny & I:D) ran into Conan O'Brien who posed for a picture.

Then, somehow the next night, I either lost Flat Kenny or he ran away. I was so embarrassed.:o:eek::o Fortunately, I had enough material for a substantial powerpoint show on Kenny's exploits.

I'm wondering if it's because they don't want to have to market those destinations as BusinessFirst, since they wouldn't always have BusinessFirst-capable aircraft flying the route.
