I might have turned on SNL, but I was too busy staring at the inside of my eyelids. I don't know why I still watch. It's gone downhill for 30+ years.

I want to take photog72 jr and get her some pertty pictures.. perhaps even put those on our holiday cards. I was out there last year... for work. This time, while we're living here, I might as well go for fun. Perhaps a tour at the Blue Bell Ice Cream factory is in order as well.

TIA

OMG -- a blue bell ice cream tour DO would be awesome!

+1, hotel toiletries never mattered to me until I tried the Bvlgari stuff.

Haha, I was just there yesterday. But I will be back tomorrow for an evening rehearsal (34th & 5th). Wanna do dinner?

I am probably around for dinner in Manhattan on Monday if folks are getting together. Let me know.

Someone just posted on luggage tag thread about tags with blinking lights. Our company has a promo item with that and I refused to use it (not that I check bags anyway). However, was recently waiting for co-worker who checked bags and sure enough the bags came down with the blinking tags and it made for locating the bags easier.

I haven't seen a blinking tag, but my mother once bought a suitcase with blinking red lights in the pull handle. It was used on one trip.

I have the feeling we'll hear about an airport dump because of the blinking light.

I've seen blinking lights in luggage wheels, but never any other blinking items in or on luggage. I never have a problem identifying my bag on the rare occasion that I actually check it.

Yeah, the lights in the handle did nothing to deter my mother from TSA scrutiny.

It's the other people I worry about that keep grabbing my bag thinking it's theirs

I think Trustguy is around from the westcoast this week. I think it was Tuesday and Thursday after 7:30 PM he's not tied to work events.

ConciergeMike Mar 7, 2010 12:13 pm

Seeing as how I'm working 0600-1430 Monday-Wednesday, I'll have to rescind my interest in getting together around Trustguy's visit.
