What holiday?

We fly almost every Thanksgiving, and on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Sometimes random holidays - Halloween, 4th of July; I like holidays :)

I might have turned on SNL, but I was too busy staring at the inside of my eyelids. I don't know why I still watch. It's gone downhill for 30+ years.

I don't stay up for it -- just watch clips on-line!^

It was planned for summer time so those w/ kids could travel and it's out of season in south Florida in June. Hopefully airfare is reasonable to FLL.

We have a family picnic Saturday; which is what we did at the 20th. It's a nice way of doing it and we enjoyed it.

If I don't see things when they are on I just don't see them.

My HS class reunions are always down the shore -- so we've been lucky to be able to spend the day at someone's beach club!^

I never take the Marriott ones. They leak too easily when flying with them. The bottles from full service Hiltons are equally bad about that.

Most of what we have at home right now is Bliss stuff from various W's and a ton of Aveda stuff from Vdara in Las Vegas. They loaded us up with about three bottles of each item each day, and each bottle has about a 10 day supply for one person. I'm averaging 7-8 uses of one of those bottles of shampoo or shower gel while on the road for work right now. When I'm staying at a budget place for work that doesn't have very good amenities, I grab some of the good stuff from home to take with me. When I stay someplace that has good amenities, I tend to restock.

Right now we need to use up more than restock though.

I love the Bliss face wash. I like the stuff we get from the St. Regis.

Since parking would have been at least triple your rental???

I managed to score a relatively inexpensive hotel on South Beach (Doubletree South Beach for $133 all-in for 1 night, not too bad for peak season), then flying out on a FLL-EWR CO flight (which is spiraling towards oversale as we speak ;) ) mid-day Tuesday.

BTW, it only took me 1:40 to drive from MCO to Port St. Lucie. Only one cop car in sight along I-95, maintained 90-95mph throughout the journey.

Good luck tomorrow!^:-:

I've seen blinking lights in luggage wheels, but never any other blinking items in or on luggage. I never have a problem identifying my bag on the rare occasion that I actually check it.

Luggage bling :D

EARLY morning greetings box, from the lobby at the 4pts LAX

My connection from COPA's PTY flight to CO's LAX's redeye to IAH did not go well. I screwed up large

CM302 arrived as scheduled at 11pm
The bus over to TBIT took a while but I was first through Passport control, Customs apparently missed the memo that a flight was due in and it took awhile for them to get things in order. Had a small Q&A session and made it outside.
Decided I had enough time to catch Bus A, which was not my original plan.
Original plan was to walk over to T6
Well I got antsy since i had just missed an A bus, hoped on the Parking lot C bus, just knowing they would stop at T6. They did, sorta, except it was T5 then straight to the parking lot. Why I didn't bail there, I'll never know
I got to see all of the lovely Parking Lot C, we were touring zone a32 while my planned flight was boarding

Called OP line, they were willing to charge(a LOT) for changing to a later flight as I hadn't officially missed my flight yet, they suggested getting to Ticket counter and let agent work on it

Arrived at ticket counter about 12:20, no one was home. All closed up till the morning.

Called OP line back after I had officially missed flight, still will not confirm me a seat without paying fare difference.

Looks like choice is to just get back to airport early and "hope", I guess for stand-by. Seems IAH-RDU is full,on many\most flights, which is creating issues.

there's a
7a to IAH, showing plenty of seats
a 715a to CLE-showing 10 seats
a 7a to EWR-5 listed

UA has a couple going out around 6-wonder if they'll take a CO pnr

Thank goodness 4pts is close by and the bar stays open late

Yikes! I had the shuttle shuffle once at one of the parking lots, but had a super long layover, so I was okay. Walking usually is the fastest choice. Sorry for the suckiness of last night:td:
