The nomination of ten films for Best Picture is just plain stupid. The only thing that makes me want to watch until bedtime is to see if Alec Baldwin can enable Steve Martin to be funny. I don't think I would laugh at Steve Martin even in my present state of slight room movement.

I watch them just to see how poor the grooming habits are of the rich and famous. Most of them now look hideous when they are not "in character". (Well, especially the men...)

Remember... everyone has to win now. There are no losers.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Oh yeah... we are watching endless re-runs of NCIS. That's more exciting.

I'm intrigued by the opening segment too. After that time to exercise my constitutional right to channel surf :-:

You think? I always thought the vapid and unimportant of both sexes (and those in between, ref: Gaga, Lady) try to look their best on awards nights. Granted, some of them put up an epic fail on the fashion front...but I never notice too many flyaway hairs or hanging boogies or anything.

Tracking through the posts of today, I must report that I am not an attorney. I do quite a few things that attorneys do in estates, but never went to law school. Got an MBA instead...

I mostly refer to the inability of the men to be able to shave or even get a haircut. A tux without a shower just doesn't do much for me. And seriously, I could lend Brad Pitt a few bucks for razor. Really, I could.

Political correctness sucks.

And the offerings on TV were such crap today that I watched edited versions of the first two Die Hards. I thought at least Fox Business Network would have Sunday morning market talk that I could learn something from....nope, infomercials from 10am to 6pm.

Yippeekiyay, Mr. Falcon.

Why not finish it all off with a show at Bread and Puppet?! :D

Brad Pitt needs the beard so he can blend into the African underbrush, because Angelina makes him use natural cover to efficiently steal small children.

Now I'm not just a good pooper, but an optimum one.
