Like I said, death all around. :D;):-:

What about the RFK bridge and getting off in Manhattan, instead of going to Bronx.
Harlem River Drive goes right to GWB.

Looks likes great  think alike.

The only problem with the GWB is if he's going to central or S Jersey it's a bit too far North. I'd suggest listening to 1010 or 880 when he picks up the car and plans his route accordingly. Of course, that's easier said than done when you have no idea where anything is.
Yea, he's heading down to Princeton-ish so that's why I pretty much would give the ^ to the BQE.

Never considered it, but would Yankee traffic spill over there?

There would be some, but not nearly as bad as the the other way.
Either way, as you pointed out he needs to go the other way, whatever time he saves it would be cancelled out by the extra amount of driving required to go over the GWB to drive to Princeton-ish Area.

Ran the dishwasher this morning. Ended up flooding the kitchen.

Apparently the dishwasher air gap overflow is somehow clogged. Will be putting a call into the apartment office this morning.

That sucks, you can also ask a fellow boxer to install a video camera in there to troubleshoot:

Do you plan to move to Chicago or just commute?

As a reserve they are saying live there.

This is my approach. I land at 6:30PM on a Friday, so I may hang loose around LGA for an hour or so and wait for the traffic to die down a little. If I do run into some, I'll use it for looking around time.

Most of the traffic will be leaving the city at that point. You should actually be fine.

Seeing as there's a Jankees game, do that. Much better than the BQE.

My colleagues from the San Jose office refuse to drive around here. Probably because when the east coasters drive them around we drive like our usual ding-bat selves, which doesn't help their impression of things. It's really not horrific.

Be careful with the GPS. Things like the NJT always get keruffled using GPS' because the way it splits. Just follow the signs and if you make a mistake it's not the end of the world.

And make sure you get a car with E-Z Pass. Seriously.

In the interview yesterday was one guy that recently joined EJT as a ticketing agent. He had flown in from IAD. Was more than happy to say hello to say hello to recruiter very loadly in a large lobby area! He then proceeded to make company comments about the company to her displeasure. He also sat on the table in the lecture room and used the computers because he was a EJT employee!! WOW!!
