I think it depends on how someone uses the freezer. We rarely use the freezer. The only thing in it is ice, ice cream, some frozen preserves, vegetables, and some meat. For us, a bottom freezer makes sense (we have a top one right now) since we hardly go in it.

I've bought big cuts before and they don't fit in the overhead freezer (and I doubt they would fit in the bottom one either) so I end up butchering it and individually packing it.

We have a lot of frozen stuff. Most of what I eat is frozen. I love the side by side; especially the pull out drawers (though wish they weren't on the bottom 2 shelves)

CC was a complete . Emails that followed even moreso.

I just asked if I could teach a class on thinking outside the box because no one ever thinks of that! Yesterday, they couldn't get an email to go through after trying it several times. I wrote back and said "be old fashioned and fax it!"

uh-oh!

Good Morning Box.

Had a great weekend at the SPG AUS DO. Came home to a sink full of dishes but no reports of wild teen parties when both parents are away, as my husband was in LAX on business while I was parting in AUS. ^

I have no idea what I've missed in The Box. Way too many pages for me to catch up on.

If posting in the box is wrong, I don't want to be right.

How long does approval for Global Entry take? It's been about 3 weeks and I'm still in the "Pending review" state.

I applied in jan and it took about 4 to 5 weeks for approval before I could schedule interview/ fingerprinting. That took about an hour. Your MMV as you are employed and have had a set house address for a while. They didnt like my application.

I only have 35k DL miles, so it would have to be a mix - Y on the outbound and F (including AS F ^) on the return.

As a DL Plat, I'd still be eligible for an upgrade on the outbound. MSP-ANC always seems to have pretty light loads and with 22 seats up front, I could have a chance. EWR-MSP, not so much.

Not bad. For :-:, I'm of the opinion that IAH-YYC/YVR/YEG-YZF is quite possibly the best use of a 25K whY reward. Regularly $900+ to buy a ticket, and the intra-Canadia sectors haz no F cabin. The only trick is to find redemption dates that will allow for optimal Aurora viewing. :-:

Agreed! I would also throw in some of those random Wyoming and Montana destinations (to see the parks) that are also quite expensive to buy.

SkyTeam is somewhat limited in the random North American destinations and I've always wanted to see Alaska, so this seems like the best use of the miles.
