The speculation that people think is for real is the inane part.

Thanks for reminding me that I wasted my time making 1,001 posts in that thread. :p

You got to keep the posts. ^

Like last year, I'm sure this will be the first of many threads with backwards clues and small clues. It's all part of the game that is played. You kind of just need to sit back and be patient (or ignore the small clues until the complete information is provided). The event is worth it in the long run...

You've played golf with me; you know I lack patience. :D

I have no doubt that the event is worth it, and I really wish I had the self-discipline to stay out of the thread. I would be much more keyed up over it if not for having found out that the schedule is being released on Monday...yeah, Monday, definitely, definitely Monday.

I especially enjoy that CO will be "teaming up" with US.

They will apparently form a new airline: CUS.

I didn't bring my lunch today and I never eat in this area... Any recommendations for something good near I-10 W and the Belt?

And to think that I almost brought my Fearless Critic book to work today.

And you know that I lack a great level of skill. :D

Just to warn you - the entire schedule will probably not be provided on Monday. My guess is that we'll get a date and some (possibly vague) info on the events but there will be a LOT more speculation coming. Prepare yourself! :)

As I said to that , that's a great first post. Don't know if you noticed the sick irony of that little tidbit.

In all of rolov's code lines (:D - cool take on it, BTW) "Idiot" appears at least once. Maybe that's what cigarman is trying to say - "You all are idiots, of course it's going to be in IAH." Just speculation on my part.

I got really active on FT the week after the last CO Thing, so I didn't experience the run-up to last year's Thing. That's my new sub-word: photog72 cornered the market on using "Meet", so I'm going to go with Thing. "Well, I'd love to stay and chat, but I got a thing. Bye."

Thought I would seek advice of my fellow boxers.

What should one do with 27 hours on the ground in Calgary?

I saw ALCO's pics and want to make the tower one of my stops any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Still waiting to hear back from the lady at OpenSkies with ticketing details. Subject to capax controls, apparently (though I doubt next weekend is an especially busy travel period to AMS).

I can go 11/28-12/1 if plans fall though from everyone else :D

I'm tired of the Do thread already. Some people there don't know how to take a joke.

The general rule is that sarcasm and the ability to recognize it drops off quickly west of the Delaware River with the rare pockets splatter about the country. That line has been moving east though lately.

I sometimes just for fun will explain something to someone as if it's a weather forecast, so it's funny you should say this. I'll have to find a way to work this in. Oh yeah, you should know if you're going to come into The Box with any regularity, any line that draws a laugh is fair game for the rest of The Box.

I had my initial screening for the sleep study/trip to France today. I passed. Assuming I pass the sleep test in 2 weeks I go in early December.
