I just ordered a Google Nexus One. This will be the fourth new phone I've bought in the last 18 months. I think I have a problem.

My best friend just switched from a Nokia N900 to the Nexus One and absolutely loves it. At least the e72 is on the Symbian OS and not Maem:rolleyes:.

We have those all over our kitchen and they are wonderful. Our kitchen has a very deep and narrow set of cabinets between the refrigerator and a wall (as deep as the refrigerator and only about 14" wide) which were completely impossible to use because of their depth and narrow opening. Installing pull-out drawers bolted to the shelves in that cabinet eliminated having the empty the cabinet out to find anything in there.

There's one other cabinet I want them in. The Simple Human ones are really nice (couldn't use those under the sink because of pipes).

I'm tired. Time to head on to bed.

Can you share part of the assignment?

I gave them a specific case and asked them to apply their knowledge of shipping and contracting to avoid this type of situation. I'm all about application of knowledge.

Ours are all from Simple Human, except for one that is a bi-level unit from Closet Maid we bought on clearance.

You know you don't have to have a contract to get a new phone. Of course it does mean you pay more for the device up front…

Don't like the idea of paying so much for a phone and this happens to still be my only line.

Our under sink is Elfa, which is fine for that, but Simple Human is so much smoother.

I do miss the UMA access. I'm with you on that. The BlackBerries on T-Mobile excel in that area, and sadly, T-Mobile hasn't offered UMA on any of the Android devices.

I thought they offered UMA on the original G1.

I fear with the lack of advertising and penetration of UMA on new handsets that it may be short for this world.

I hope i'm wrong.

I've had the (dis)pleasure of using Symbian since the first gen. This current gen is the first truly usable in regards to responsiveness.

I am quite happy with it as i've been playing with it, now to just get used to it.

I'm shocked, shocked I tell you to find this on the front of nypost.com. IMHO, NSFW

Nope, my friend who has the Nexus One had the G1 when it first came out, and he gave up UMA when he replaced his BlackBerry Curve with the G1.

When they first launched UMA it seemed like all of their new phones were getting it, and then it just kind of died. It seems to me like carriers would encourage adoption of the technology, as it relieves pressure on their network, and any voice and data that goes over UMA is voice and data the carrier doesn't have to connect over its own towers.
