Welcome to FlyerTalk!

I drank too much on my last 752 flight to bother writing down all the titles. There are a lot. Odds are you'll find something relatively decent to watch or listen to.

Regarding How do I get access to the Continental Presidents Club?, there is one access method missing, which is CO's agreement with Amtrak for ClubAcela.

Anyone who has obtained Select Plus Status in the Amtrak Guest Rewards Program automatically has ClubAcela access, and it is printed on the membership card that is mailed out when the status is obtained. Showing the card at a CO President's Club will allow the member +1 guest into the CO President's Club Lounge. Same day tickets on CO are NOT required for access using the Select Plus / Club Acela Card.

Amtrak's description of the Select Plus program here confirms the access.

As a side note, "Continental Airlines President’s Club members with a valid membership card or a Continental Business First ticket for same-day travel are welcome at the New York ClubAcela."

Grammar tweak right at the top...

"Are they're any invitation only / unpublished levels within OnePass?"

Should be

"Are there any..."

When you waitlist for a mileage upgrade, and there are several people in the Rez, it doesn''t say if you're prioritized according to the lower-level elite (like EUAs), or according to the elite level of the member whose account the miles came out of (like the co-pay).

By the account of miles until you're at the departure gate, where it becomes the passenger status. I'll try to clarify that in there somewhere.

The level of "Will my plane have..." threads is alarmingly bad. Can the FAQ crew do a post for this? Maybe it could include such things as 772 flat seats, 752 flat seats, and 738/9 DTV.

You might want to update with details on how the TATL points work, as I just spent 45 minutes on the phone with two OPSC agents confirming the programme details.

Your OnePass address must be a qualifying EU address (they didn't elaborate, but I think this might exclude PO boxes. Not sure.)

5/10/15 points for Silver/Gold/Plat

1 point for all fares (you don't get bonus points for F, apparently)

You ONLY get credit for CO flights. Can be a codeshare (though I'd want to see it happen to be sure), but must be bought as a CO coded flight.

If you change address mid-year, you get should get all back credit within 5 weeks.

International Z

Hi All, i have an Lufthansa international Z fare, and i was wondering what booking class that becomes when flying CO domestically. i know with United, when im on a Z fare, and only 1st class is offered, im booked in to an A fare, and was wondering if this is the same with CO. ITA is showing Z fares for the domestic segments, even tho there is no biz offered on the flight just 1st.
Funnily enough, it seems to be showing some UA flights as Z class which i know is not right, as its a 320.

thanks

LH Z translates exactly to CO Z. I flew LH in Z at the end of last year and it showed up as CO Z - 100% RDM, 150% EQM.

thanks for the reply, but sorry, its not quite what i was asking.

what i would like to know is, if i'm flying a Z biz ticket international, LH/LX/UA/US and connect to domestic continental, what booking class will i be booked in seeing as there isn't Biz class, only a 1st or Y class cabin.

On United, when i do this kind of flight, the booking class for the domestic 1st is booked in to A, Discounted first class. what booking class will CO put me in, or does it remain in Z.

thanks

The airlines refer to this as 'fare class mapping'. At worst, call CO and ask what the other airline's fare bucket maps to in OnePass. There's no resource on FT that I know of that lays out fare mapping in an easy, clean fashion.

Suggestion: add a few FAQ's on the rules for stopovers and open-jaw's on reward tickets.

I would bet that it remains in Z. CO has the Z bucket on their domestic flights, too, so they don't really have to map it to something else.
