I would definitely come if this was during the week since I work downtown...but I don't think I'll be driving in on Saturday. I see enough of the Katy Freeway during the week.

Wimp!

I can clearly see that IAHFlyer would decimate you in that death match

Besides, just take Westpark Tollway in to 59 and 59 to 529 -- no traffic on Saturday and an easy drive in to town.

Now if you would do it on Friday after work, then I certainly could have been there (but perhaps that was your intent )

In case I fail my to mention my non-fecal fetish fascination at the Flying Saucer, a little background info: Last year CO poo-poo-ed on my bag
somewhere between Bangor, Maine EWR MSY IAH [wherever it went next].

Problem solved: biohazard bag disposed of and a VERY nice new one furnished by the fine folks representing our fair air carrier.

About getting to the Flying Saucer - You could take pubic transportation Metros Light Rail. (well then its a fecal issue again)

I'll come by. I am new to Houston, so hopefully I don't get lost. How will I know who you are?

Is there any free parking near by?

See you tonight

See you there timo469. The Flying Saucer really isn't too difficult to find -- it's right on Main St. As for free parking, you should be able to find some nearby on one of the cross streets. I generally am able to find decent parking on Preston and Prarie near the courthouse on Saturday afternoons.

I'm sure you'll be able to find us because we'll probably be the only people in the place talking about airplanes, airlines, airports...

Just look for the area without the blue carpet.

I'm the tall skinny guy with a buzz cut wearing a tee shirt that says "I'm with stupid" (standing next to I'll let you fill in the blank)

Shouldn't a "Micro" Do be in this part of the world?

Next time, please stick to mini- or nano-.

There's wireless here in the saucer, but you gotta get the code from the wait staff (not too much help if you don't have a laptop or don't know to ask)...just thought I'd say A friend and I are on the back couches nearest the bar. Look for the tall skinny guy with hair (me) and the short fat guy with less hair (him), and a pair of laptops. If you don't arrive for another 30-40 mins, look for the drunk people.

Yep, there were a few drunk people in the place.
