...Cougar High?

Heh heh - I had not heard that one.

But roshambauing is quite a simple process as outlined on South Park. It goes like this: first I kick you in the *@#$, then you kick me in the *@#$, the process repets and the last one standing wins!

I'll go first.

Moving on - ND Sol raised a good point which I forgot to clarify: when I said 'weekend' I really meant to say Friday evening after work (5ish).

Anyway, got a few more votes in. Currently we have

Friday Nov. 10th: |||
Friday Nov. 17th: ||||

...so it looks like we're slightly leaning towards the 17th

That's an old Southwest Conference term.

Dang! Oh well, maybe in December. That is, unless the organizers of this thing are open to a bribe...

Just in case the 17th has been made official, here's a vote for the 11th. I'd love to make one of these - I'm flying out on the 17th so can't make that one (unless we do it at the E Pclub ) but could make the 11th. If not, hopefully the next one!

Any Updates?

So with all the discussion of the weekend of November 11 versus the weekend of November 18, we never have really made a final decision. So which is it going to be?

It was a close call this time and folks were split down the middle... literally on when to do this. But, for the sake of setting a date and carving out space on busy calendars, let's aim for the weekend of the 11th. Specifically, starting Friday the 11th at 5pm (although feel free to come by any time thereafter).

Also, while we're at it, let me go ahead and ask the question of what date will fly around here for December (and if folks are up for a meeting in December, would people prefer to do something a little more structured, like a dinner-esque event, in the spirit of the holidays?).

Look forward to seeing y'all there.

If it is the weekend of the 18th, I can make it.....not so much for this weekend.
And, if it is this weekend, I hope yall enjoy yourselves, I'll be sad I'm missing it.

Depending on how late you guys are there Friday, I should be able to make it. Right now I'm scheduled to land at IAH around 7:45 PM, but there's a really good chance I'm going to finish up work with my client this week early on Friday and be able to make the 3:00 flight back to IAH, which means landing about 5:00 PM. So hopefully I'll be able to make it. If not, will try in December.

As for December, it sounds good to me. Fridays are generally better than Saturdays in December. Right now, just about any Friday that month is good.

Ditto to everything baglady said, except the part about the P-club. Unless someone wants to "guest" me in, but as I remember that procedure pissed off someone else on this board recently...
