My company, when we owned a record company, though the board was prejudice and openly discouraged wanting to move it to Cleveland permanetly. It has nothing to do with the venues as Playhouse Square Center in Cleveland can handle any event and there are plenty top notch restaurants and hotels in the immediate downtown area.

How apropos! (Good thing I clicked on the "New Posts" link). I'll be having to kill time in CLE in the middle of the day on May 25, so I sure appreciate all the suggestions (my buddy works at the hospital at Case Western so I have to fend for myself).
And there sure aren't any AA MRs out of CLE!

And let me tell you the theatres in Cleveland put to shame the dumps we call theatres in NYC. They are absolutely stunning! ^

Playhouse Square is simply amazing - the renovations turned it in to one of the world's premier theatre districts. Heck, we like it so much that our company is moving to the Idea Center in a couple months.

...and Brasa is wonderful, although I'm not sure I could do both on the same day. Slyman's has HUGE sandwiches, and you need to hit Brasa with an appetite!

If you're in the mood for Indian, I strongly suggest Udupi Cafe in Parma Heights (I-480 E to Pearl Road); it's not very expensive and the food is excellent*.
*It's vegetarian Indian, but it's really good vegetarian, regardless.
