Thats not 100% accurate, the RRHoF board is based in NYC and has never wanted to promote/produce the show in Cleveland. They've fought it tooth and nail every year. My company, when we owned a record company, though the board was prejudice and openly discouraged wanting to move it to Cleveland permanetly. It has nothing to do with the venues as Playhouse Square Center in Cleveland can handle any event and there are plenty top notch restaurants and hotels in the immediate downtown area.
