I'm sure I'll be able to add to this thread shortly -- looking to go from LCY to EDI in September, but it won't let me book online -- says I have to call their number for that itinerary. Given their generally poor-sounding customer service record, I have a feeling any savings over taking the train will be wiped out by the phone bill!

They seem fine when I've spoken with them on the phone. The only problems I've encountered are with regard to OnePass miles. Since they have no FF program nobody there knows anything about that aspect of running an airline.

Regarding calling the UK, it's very cheap these days. For a free call try http://www.voipcheap.com/ -- you can enter your number and their number and talk for free!

Now I understand what the issue could be: if they don't have their own FF program, you're right; they are probably wondering what all these mile requests are about. Thanks for clearing that up.

Actually they do have their own frequent flyer program, (although it is only for their highest fares), so they don't have that excuse:

It's annoying. I really LIKE flybe, particularly compared to BMI or the real UK low-cost airlines, but this miles thing just p*sses me off.

That must be fairly new. Their Economy Plus fares (that qualify for the program) are so much higher than the el-cheapo ones it's not even funny.

I just got off the phone with FlyBE after my latest attempt to get them to add my OnePass number to my reservation. They at first *INSISTED* that I call Continental. After doing some insisting myself I was put me on hold for a long time. They then came back and asked me for my OnePass number and they have supposedly added it to my reservation.

If you get stuck on this ask for Michelle when you call FlyBE reservations -- she says she now knows what to do and how to do it!
