ATM Question for Continental

My home airport, like Continental's, is IAH. I have a Chase/Continental ATM card. I often use this card to get cash while at IAH. I also always have to pay a $2.00 service charge because the only ATMs in IAH are for Bank of America and Wells Fargo. Since Continental has a deal with Chase, why is it that there are no Chase ATMs in all of IAH? Maybe, this is something outside of Continental's control (though I cannot imagine that it does not have enough pull at IAH to make almost anything happen). But, I wonder if it is possible for Continental to put no service fee ATMs in the President's club as a perk to its frequent flyers. To me this would be a nice benefit provided by Continental with little, if any, expense to the airline.

Does anyone know to whom I should send this suggestion?

I could only imagine that while this would be nice, it doesnt really fall too high on the listof things to do.

Continental could work out a deal with the ATMs I'm sure, but I get the feeling that an issue more forward towards the airport authority.

Typically anyways the "major area bank" is who places the ATM in certain location.

You could also switch to a bank that rebates the ATM fees for when you're on the road. I use (but am not affiliated with) Umbrellabank.com, which offers a great Basic Interest Checking account ($500 minimum balance, no fees, .75-1.3% yield, unlimited checks, online billpay, unlimited postage paid deposit envelopes, native English-speaking telephone CSRs, ATM fee rebates up to $7.50/mo, FDIC insurance, and a Visa ATM/Debit card with no int'l transaction fees beyond the 1% Visa fee). If you're over 50, they offer an even better package.

Getting started with Umbrella can be a pain, but once the account is setup it's a great product (I've had it for 4 years now and have been very happy).

There are other similar banks out there, too.

Every Little Bit Helps

I got to tell you that every little thing that Continental can do right now to keep my business would be appreciated. If it does not cost them anything and it soothes my demeanor from having to take another 3 hour flight on a jungle jet they should do it.

By the way, I think Chase is the predominant bank in Houston. In fact, I office in its 75 story building (the tallest west of the Mississippi) in the heart of downtown.

I'm a BoA customer, so I think IAH's current ATM situation is convenient and excellent. Also, I often notice CO employees using these machines - especially the one near the south PC entrance. So swapping the ATMs for another bank could impact a large number of frequent users at IAH.
