Does anyone know if this bonus was restricted to American Express Platinum cards (the ones with a $300 annual fee) or if other AMEX family Platinum cards (Starwood, HHonors, Optima) qualified?

Do these bonuses take longer to process and show up on the CO website than other bonuses?

Now that the bonus frenzy has wound down I would like to thank Amex and CO for the miles. Also Vulcan and the many others who contributed to this extremely useful thread.

Does anyone know whether the GGONE/GGAMEX bonuses started in Fall 2000 or only in Jan 2001? (I haven't been around long enough). Looking at Vulcan's list, it looks like there were two hotel bonuses which began Nov., 2000, but that most of the bonuses began Jan, 2001. Wondering if anyone had information/experiences which predated Vulcan's list?
Thanks.

I got the postcard for the direct-booking bonus but still haven't gotten credits posted for a flight on that that was booked online and taken within the time period.
Otherwise the $211 ATL-EWR-PDX-IAH-EWR-ATL romp that came in under the wire netted 31,693 total miles (would've been more but IAH-EWR-ATL was July 1). Nice 3-dayer in Portland.
Looks like the reactivation bonus is the only one to really count on lately.
Would be nice to get a new round of Amex promos and maybe a HKG mileage sale come fall.

They're running a bonus right now for 2,000 bonus miles if you book directly through Continental as opposed to a travel agent or site such as Expedia. The offer is valid whether you book on Continental.com, by phone, or at a CTO. I received a postcard in the mail about it today, as did two of my coworkers. The card says the offer is valid on roundtrips only between June 15 and December 31, 2001, on Continental, Continental Express, Continental Micronesia and Continental-ticketed flights on Air France and Virgin Atlantic. Apparently it's an automatic bonus that you don't have to sign up for if you were mailed one of the cards.</font>

That would strike me as being very, very, very unlikely.
