Upgrade priority?
I've been able to use my priority pack one-segment upgrades 30% of the time. I still have 4 of these coupons left. After my next flight I'll be silver.
What takes higher priority on the upgrade, my silver elite status or the upgrade coupon.
Just wondering if they are worth anything now.

Rock...scissors...PAPER?...OR SILVER?
Rock beats scissors...
Scissors beat paper...
Silver beats them all!
The silver status will allow the computer to automatically upgrade you. The coupons are now worthless.

880, if you are not automatically upgraded ahead of time due to your Silver status through the EUA process, I would make an attempt to use the coupons at check-in. I have had instances where agents allowed these coupons to be used at check-in and immediately confirmed an upgrade. Other times they did not take the time to read the fine print or they knowingly decided to allow utilization by interpreting the rules very generously and allowed me to upgrade an associate along with myself. I've even had agents honor these Priority Pack standby upgrades as if they were positive space upgrades, at check-in! Worth a try. I feel.

But Mrlimo, the silver status will get the upgrade over the prestege pack coupon at the gate. AT least it should... however, I do agree with you weird things happen, and the "try whatever works" theory certainly has no down side. So maybe we can agree try the silver first THEN try the coupon if the silver fails?

The interpretation of the rules are totally up to the gate agent.
Before I was elite, my wife and I both used 2 of her prestige pack coupons to get upgraded on a flight from IAH-HNL...in BUSINESS FIRST.
The funny thing about it was that it plainly said on the prestige pack coupon that they were non-transferable, and to be used only by the person whose name appears on the front. My wife was really nice to the agent plus we arrived about 3 hours early, which is why I assume we got the upgrades on the spot.

Not a big deal, though, since ultimately it turned out that you've been a good customer to the airline, so little things like that work out very well.

The Prestige Pack upgrades are space-available, meaning that when you check in, if there is a FC seat open, you should get it.
Some agents interpret this as that there has to be an F seat and not an A seat (CO often won't "release" seats for upgrades until, say, an hour before flight, or 30 minutes before flight, or whatever). But the coupon says nothing of the sort, only that if a FC seat is available at check-in, within 2 hours of departure, you can have it.
It would be worth politely disagreeing with the agent if they say some FC seats haven't been released and they'll put you on the waiting list. If you get put on the waiting list, you likely will not get the seat, as every elite member will be ahead of you, even if they show up one minute before the seats are released.

And yet another good reason not to discard those Prestige Pack Upgrade Certificates.
The quote is from the topic Who says the prestige pack upgrades are useless?

I was travelling with a companion (non-elite). We were pretty early. There was one seat left in FC so I gave the gate agent one of my Prestige Pack U/G certs (with my name on it) and she upgraded my companion on the spot.
I have had a number of experiences where I was able to upgrade my companion with my Prestige Pack certs.
Now if I could just get EUA to upgrade me!

The computer asks because a person can have a good reason to turn one down. You can't very well upgrade when one person is traveling with a small child. Just one reson not to upgrade...
