For example, on Boeing's website the 73G ER has a max range listed at 5,630 nm (well in excess of the 752W's max range of 4,100 nm), but this is achieved only with the addition of 9 auxiliary fuel tanks and a single-class configuration of 48 seats.
But even in its normal two-class configuration, the 73G only carries about 120-125 passengers, far fewer than CO's 752W, which has 175 seats.

As noted by others, 737's can certainly do TATL,,,but I wouldn't say they could replace the 752 because, in order to have an equivalent range, they would need a far lower payload.

When we pulled up to E-17 this morning I saw a new United bird parked at E-16.

My flight from DCA-IAH this morning was with UNITED. However no mention on board - everything still CO at this point.

I saw one of the Eco Skies 737s in the new UNITED livery at IAH this morning. It seems that they're keeping the Eco Skies branding even after the name change.

Saw a new paint Q400 at RDU today doing I believe a EWR turn. Somehow it managed to look worse than the jets do, cheap cheap cheap!
