For those willing to abuse OfficeMax to support their home office - remember mileage malls can be combined with the OfficeMaxPerks.

I now only shop them for office supplies we'll use and where I make money - combining the 100% rebate, OfficeMaxPerks for Teachers, mileage mall (usually PriorityClub), and credit card rebates is ^

Done grading until next Monday Well, there's extra credit due tomorrow (the single opportunity for students) but so few actually complete the task as it requires one to read an article and learn something new ...

Although my agency is closed today, our gym is supposedly open. Time to get a workout in before taking the ancient beast (1998 Ford) in for a free oil change. Yes, Firestone put coupons for free oil changes in our city's fundraiser coupon book (so I bought more than one book at $20). ^

I have now suffered through the horror that is the seat on the AA ATR-72. I did not realize it was possible to make an aircraft seat that uncomfortable. I stand corrected.
At least it was only a 30 minute flight with only about 20 passengers on board. I can't imagine a full flight on that aircraft.
The ATRs CO flew back in the day were not nearly that uncomfortable.

I remember the CO ATR-42s having seats that reclined, and having just enough pitch I could sit normally with my feet under the seat in front of me. The AA ATR-72 I flew last night had neither of those features, and I would have been SOL if the flight had been full and someone had to sit next to me. I never flew any of the ATR-72s that CO flew (those were mostly based at EWR when they had them), and it's quite possible that the CO -72 was more similar to the plane I flew last night than the -42s I used to fly out of IAH.
