Too late. According to reports & shopnewarkterminalc.com, Nathans is closed. (ABP too.) There 's a whole thread about this.

Garden State Diner!
Ask for a Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese sandwich. Not on the menu but that's what I always order. Delicious.
Make sure they scramble the eggs.

I have to throw my vote to Gallaghers...sorry.
Yes, it can be pricey; but I always order the filet appetizer (~$16); three tiny filets topped with carmelized onions and blue cheese. Yum! Paired with a glass of Cab, Double Yum!

A New Joisey classic . . . except purists will say that the egg (or more typically a double egg) needs to be over easy - so the yolk explodes into the sandwich (and it HAS to have ketchup, salt and pepper on it).

I'm less annoyed by the price than by the absolutely miserable service.

I noticed yesterday that a "Grand Central Oyster Bar" is fixin' to occupado the space left by Au Bon Pain in the C concourse at the entrance to the 70's.
Not sure how I feel about eating oysters from an airport concession prior to sitting on a plane for a few hours (I call this the ATL Popeyes Rule of unintended, but not unsurprising, consequences).
I wonder if they're going to ship the oysters in fresh from GCT on the AirTrain.

It is indeed the Jersey gold standard for breakfast. I'm a scrambled egg guy myself, but agree wholeheartedly on the condiments.
