Yes you can reply to another user. Depending on what platform you use to "tweet", there will be a reply option/button. For instance if you use twitter on the web, on the right hand side (of the person's tweet you want to be reply to), there will be a "reply to" arrow. If you use tweetdeck (I tend to use this most in addition to my mobile) the reply to button will be on the person's profile picture. Depending on what program you use to "tweet" with, the "reply to "button will be in different places. I hope this made sense.

I joined twitter for the UA e-cert deal :D.

Someone had pinched my name already :( so I am Downundergirl1.

I am not at all used to it and have done only one tweet :o. I didnt register my phone, I am just using it on the internet for the time being.

Maybe I need my "tween" daughter to teach me how to twitter ;). She just joined as well.

I don't think an Oz-based mobile can receive alerts (or at least mine can't), but you can SMS an UK number to post your tweets if you want to. If your phone has free SMS to overseas or you never use up your quota, registering your phone may be useful.

Is your daughter Downundergirl2? :)

My cell (mobile) is notoriously expensive for overseas sms so I probably wont be taking the cell option at this stage.

LOL no, Mini DG doesnt really like the Downunder girl handle (so contrary ;) )so she chose something else :D.
