I am having a mid-career crisis in that Twitter is the first technology thing that has come along that I really have no idea how I will use (and technology is how I make my living). But I just signed up to follow all of you, so hopefully that will help me learn!

I post about a lot of things, from medicine and medical education to wine and humor. It might make sense for us to use a standardized hashtag, say #flyertalk, in our posts that have to do with flying. That makes tracking our flyergeekwisdomtweets easier to find. Whatchu all say?

Not a bad idea. I've used the #boarding hashtag before. When my tweets are not a specific boarding instance, the #flyertalk tag would make sense...such as when I posted that I was giving up the opportunity to bump (!) to make sure I got to Saskatoon Thursday night for a party...something I'd otherwise almost never do.

We should start using a flyertalk hashtag for FT-related stuff. I saw a few people using #flyertalk earlier, so should people just stick with that?

I hope this isn't ot, but I figured out how to put something on my page, but how do you post to ask a question to some one else. I tried it & it appeared on my page:eek:
