Edited to add - I forgot to say how I use Twitter. I haven't been on that long so my use is still evolving.
- asking and answering quick questions (Twitter is much more immediate than FT, but also more ephemeral)
- micro blogging (stuff too small for a blog post)
- learning all sorts of useful travel stuff (demographic is a bit different to FT)
- alternate news source (much more immediate than my other sources)
- etc

I think it's kind of creepy, but I signed up anyway to see what all the tweet is about. So far only Barack Obama has asked to follow me. As I said, it's kind of creepy...

Well, for one thing, supposedly Barack Obama wants to follow me.
I think it's an age thing, and I don't quite get it. Probably related to the idea of following somebody. I'm thinking stalking rather than friendly chatting.
But you have to keep up, so I'm giving it a try. Is there any way to seach for like-minded people to follow?

I'm on it as well (link in signature). Still pretty new and figuring it out, but I think this could be a revolutionary communication tool . . .
I assume I'll use mine more as a mini-blog/news aggregator/networking tool, rather than a duplicator of my facebook status, but we'll see.
Other than the #boarding tag, which seems awesome, are there any other travel/airport specific applications that one should be aware of?

I'm on. I don't know why, or what I'm going to use it for, but I already slightly addicted.
First thing this morning was to check what Stephen Fry was up to, and see if I had any followers!
