I'm also booked on AKL-WLG JQ263 and WLG-AKL JQ262 on the 10th June for a "Welcome JQ mini-run" 
Tentatively planning to then continue on to AKL-CHC JQ249 and CHC-AKL JQ250 on the same day, but have not yet booked this - will wait and see what comes up in the Friday Frenzies.

All the cheap bucket fares are gone. The only ones that are left on that day are incoming to AKL, first flight of the morning. FYI I arrive in NZ 29/05 at 0100h from MEL, then I have booked an overnight stay in AKL before I have AKL-SYD the next morning dep at 0850h....
New alternative, however...... somehow get to ROT (perhaps on NZ), then ROT-CHC on QFNZ, then CHC-AKL on NZ or DJ (possibly via WLG). There's the only cheap fares I can find..... or perhaps I can work out something else...

I didn't want to join this DO mainly because I was going to be in NZ later that month anyway (albeit very shortly), so I couldn't find an excuse to be in NZ twice in the same month.
Bundy Bear is doing a similar sampler this weekend in AU

The flights you noted aren't scheduled for Tues 9 Jun.... the best option ex-WLG seems to be:
