It opens 1 hor before the first departure and stays open.
Always quiet so if you are used to Australian QPs you should have a pleasant surprise and know why we will mourn their eventual demise.

That's good to hear, not that I ever really doubted it. I did strongly suspect that where KF and QF posted contradictory information, that KF would be correct.

OMG we are in Auckland that weekend!

We will be visiting a dear friend so unlikely available unless there is a Sunday activity - but as Auckland details are posted for dinner we may convince our friend to meet up!

Sounds great. I haven't been before, and the walk up Queen St from the hotel will get the thirst and appetite going, and the easy downhill walk should make for a quick and easy return - provided no distraction encountered en-route....

I'm in, cheers TK

Good chips there

I'll have to hide them from jswong though in case he tells me how bad they are for my insides!

I wonder what the record is for the highest number of WP's on one Jetconnect flight? Perhaps we should see if they'll give us a prize

I almost forgot that I will be in SYD on May 9. I am on United 0863 arriving SYD 6:25 AM
and then returning on United 0840 at 1:50 PM. Is it feasible for me to redeem an award ticket and meet up with the group for a moment? If so, I will need some help with booking paid/award tickets.

It takes 3 - 3.5 hrs to fly SYD-AKL oneway. I'm assuming you're doing a day-turn, so no.
