When did they institute such draconian regulations? Does it even apply to their best customers such as the MVPGs?

Hi. We will be traveling to ANC and staying July 3-5. Any recommendations for places to see fireworks--we have a car. Also anyone up for a drink or dinner the evening of July 3?
Cheers, Mary Anne and Don (AKA Silver Springer and Mr. Silver Springer

Fireworks though are a bit of a joke up here, as its still very light. Eagle River has a show on July 3 (evening) typically, and a bigger display on July 4 in ANC.

Thanks, rob and deirdre for keeping me company at Club Paris and the BR.
Poor beckoa
I've been able to finesse that in the past by pacing myself and making
sure different attendants help me. And if memory doesn't fail, at times
there have been complaisant personnel.
Hoisted one in your honor and then went to cheap Malbec; the girl
poured me a beer-sized glass of it, and then it was time to go.

I will be passing through Anchorage on the afternoon of July 10th. After a hopefully short meeting with the folks at U.S. Customs and Border Protection over in the North Terminal, I should be available for questions and autographs and cocktails in the Boardroom. Okay, well... maybe just cocktails
