Hmmmmmmmm.

If the lights are showing, BOB W said that they could be clearly seen from his backyard.

So if they are out, can we presume that he will have adequate accommodations and suitable beverage service for the viewings?

I think I can confirm that on behalf of Bob.

And we're staying in the southern half of Alaska this time specifically at your request...so you'd better be here! :D

You are probably right but we will also let him confirm it himself and, if possible, post a beverages menu.

I do not recall making such a request in so many words and I myself would have no trouble going north again but I do have someone else around who would have  for that proposition.

Emmm...

Yes and Yes. Plus some decent food to offer. If I don't clear out some wine I am going to have to put a wine club on hold...

OHHH, THE HUMANITY;):p

Perhaps a train trip to Seward this time around?

We thought about that, but the train doesn't run to Seward that early in the season (they start up on May 15thish).

Don't worry...we have some KILLER events in the works this year, so everyone, be sure to drop your name in the hat!

We have an exclusive arrangement for this DO with our friends at E&J Gallo Winery and Centerra Wine Company to present four of the preeminent American wines of the 20th century, including:

Night Train Express
Thunderbird
Cisco
and Richards Wild Irish Rose

While I'm unsure of the specific vintage, I hope you'll find these pleasing to your palate... ;)

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here, while I realize that naked snowmachining, food contests involving who can eat the most US Airways fiesta snack mix, and the first annual Turnagain Arm polar bear swim will be great fun, "KILLER" might set some peoples' expectations too high... :p

Wall o' wine...but I also take personal requests (within reason of course):)

How can I say this politely? Mad Dog's vendor wasn't interested in the DO's market demographic. We just aren't good enough for them... :(

Never heard of Annie Green Springs - is that some kind of funky thing you get up north?

Mad Dog's demo is prime time in Wasilla. The idiot, brain dead beewitch is from there and rumor has it she will be their next spokes ..sumthin... sumthin.... sumthinnn..... We might even get her to make a guest appearance, provided glen dreck interviews her for fake noise..... They (MD) need to reconsider.

Annie Greensprings was awesome when I had no palate. I don't know that it's even around anymore.

Buy me her book. After i p**s on it, perhaps she will sign it. Then I can use it to start a bonfire.....

Can you tell I just want to give her to the people of Afganistan? Jogging shorts (which) she posed for then complained about:rolleyes: or a burka. I'll take the burka.........

Of course, she' dumb enough to show up (GAWD, I hope not!!!!)

AND, my wine is not CHEAP!!!!!

Ooops - the spam filter caught my expletive - I wasn't implying your wine was cheap. My wine is cheap, my whine and your wine is expensive.

It's too bad you couldn't send me down a pee-soaked book. She was in Tempe today signing books at Costco and I'd have dropped by to get it signed for you. Of course, they'd give me a funny look when I pulled it out with those huge medical tongs while wearing a full protective suit... :D
