Sorry about my abrupt, brief visit last nite. I was starting to feel uneasy on the way over (am ok today), so thought it best to not attend. Since I had a few items for Pranu, I want to deliver them anyway. See everyone next month.

Where in the DC area are you staying? Are you Metro'ing or driving? Need to know before we can make any suggestions...

Oooooh! Sounds like a perfect opportunity for a dinner at 94th Aero Squadron Restaurant. Dine overlooking the runway at the oldest operating airport in the world!
It has been a very long time since anything has been held in MD.

I can't do Thursday the 27th. How bad is the drive to College Park from downtown DC or NoVA on a weeknight? How Metro-accessible is the suggested restaurant?
tazi, I recognize we've not had a lot of MD events of late, but I think that's partly a function of the geographic distribution of our regulars. At the events with which I'm most familiar -- about equally split between events in DC and those in VA (I've not been to any in MD) -- a substantial majority of the attendees seem to be VA-based (though a number of us work in the District).

I did like 94th Aero Squadron Restaurant the last time we were there...
Can't do thursday myself. Wednesday might be a possibility.
Edit: Would love to again get myself to try the simulator we played with last time and beat that train (and not crash land)
Wonder if it will be open during evening hours.

College Park Aviation Museum
For those of you not familiar with the place, the restaurant is located right next to the museum. Very interesting place and the simulator is fun .... I think I mostly crashed.

So, we have a suggestion for the 94th Aero Squadron Restaurant (too bad the museum's not open during week nights; the simulator sounds fun) and two expressed preferences for something on Wednesday March 26. Any additional suggested locations, date preferences, indications of interest?
I'm going to be out of town from the 12th to the 18th and will have, at best, sporadic access to the internet. That being the case, I'd prefer to get something quasi-definite up on the first page of this thread over the weekend so that we can all arrange our lives around a March DC HH event.
