The 2008 DC Area Happy Hour Thread
Welcome all to the new 2008 DC Metro Area Happy Hour Thread!
Our Happy Hours are not necessarily restricted to just Happy Hours - they can include lunches, dinners, driving in circles in parking lots, and anything else you can dream up and assemble a bunch of people for! One handy tip: Do go to an ATM and carry cash with you - its always easier to settle a bill if everyone has cash - rather than having 10 credit cards on the table. Fantastic. I guess we can tentatively put up those dates as a possible get together.
Looks like the restaurant week thing is not happening - we don't seem to have much interest here - except for mot29 and myself. Oh well - late Jan perhaps people? I guess people still need to find their way over to this thread. :) |

Unfortunately I can't do Thursday (or the 19th that week - lucky's event).
I saw those two threads - and am pretty bummed that I can't make either. Thanks for the invite though :) |

I'm in the same boat re: Bammy's event and lucky, et al.'s events. headinclouds seems to be similarly situated. How about scheduling something for Monday or Tuesday? I'd be game. |
OK then. So I tried to see what reservations I could get for Monday or Tuesday and here's what I have...
(And this is from high recommendations from last fall - I couldnt make it then) Monday, January 14, 2008 1930 (7:30 PM) I Ricchi 1220 19th Street, NW Washington, DC 20036 They requested that we DO NOT ask them for splitting it up into multiple credit cards - so people - PLEASE BRING CASH! Reservation for 6
Unfortunately I couldn't get a larger reservation there. If someone else has a better idea please post and I can always cancel this reservation. |
