I hope the next couple of days after the DO takes place, there will not be a thread here titled "Obnoxious gang pax(es) on red-eye UA16 "

Or, based on the past few weeks here, "Obnoxious NRSA's try to move up to C, and FA's do anything." After all, we will shower the FA's with kindness.

I promise to not pull a Gerard Finneran. However, if they're offering beverage cart rides, all bets are off.

Our flight is still showing NC9...plenty of room for others to join us.

I'm due into SFO at 5:35pm coming back from BDL, so if all the connections work out, and the weather cooperates, I'll be there.

Looking forward to meeting you, Tom!^ Will you be heading home first, or go straight from the airport to Hola?

I just got an email from the banquet coordinator, and here is what she says. Please let me know what you folks think should be done:
"For a group that large it is highly recommended that you choose a banquet menu. For the size of our kitchen it is difficult for them to put out 30 seperate meals at the same time. However if you choose to go with the open menu please keep in mind that the quality of service will be compromised. Please let me know what you decide."

So, whaddya think?

Maybe we split into smaller tables of 5-6 each.

This could also make conversation and splitting checks easier.

I'll pick up my car at off-airport parking and just drive over. Benicia is 45 miles, and two bridges, from SFO, so doesn't make much sense to drive home first (and pay another $8 in tolls to come back).

Given that people will be showing up at random times, we're not sure exactly how many will show, people are picky, and we'd have to deal with one check instead of, at worst, table-by-table checks...

I think we're best ordering off the menu.

That's a tough one since people's tastes are so varied (and we'd have to deal with special requests like vegetarians). I think we should just go off the menu - we're not really going there for the service anyway.

I think it's much easier to work the final bill with a smaller group, so I'd prefer this, too.

You say that now. Next thing you know, we'll have a thread called "WS gave paper napkins in H!"
