Hey, everyone! Long time no see... I'm glad to know you all are still getting together. I recognize several names here, so I hope some of you remember me. I haven't posted in several months and haven't even been traveling much (and it's not like I don't have time, since I -- and almost everyone I worked with -- got laid off from my Fed job and have been freelancing from home... of course, send any good mid- to senior-PR/communications job leads my way! :D ).

Anyway, just thought I'd pop in to say hi, sorry I've missed you, and I'm glad you're all doing well. I hope to catch you at the next get-together. My husband (whom some of you met at an FT event over a year ago) and I are going on a cruise to Bermuda soon out of Philly; it'll be his first visit there and my second. Hopefully I'll see you all soon after that.

Ms. Japhydog (much more than a friend) is otherwise occupied. A tragedy for y'all, but no problem for me since I get to see her every night and every morning. :D

I'm going to have to back out, with great regrets. An old friend is coming in to town for a job interview and has asked me to do help with some coaching. I think the dinner would be more fun. And then there were six.
