I have purposefully not eaten anyhting at all so far today in mouth-water expectation of the glorious calorie overload to come.

Pizzaman rocks. ^ ^ ^ Many thanks to you and your staff at 5 guys for a great time. There were only 4 of us left when they closed at 11 pm. It was great to meet a fellow wine fan. Your wine selections were top notch, including the long island red which your deli actually sells. Well, the Ridge Pagani Ranch tasted like sucking bad vodka thru a prune, but that’s another story. This DC happy hour will definitely go into the history books. Congrats upon your pending bundle of joy.

a great night seeing everyone... maybe we'll have to frequent Five Guys again.... I'm still full! ... and I think someone need to change his handle to Burgerman

mwp2paris was right: the DC Happy Hour group is terrific! Good people, good food, and good tips about information I missed on the FlyTalk boards. Thanks to everyone I met for welcoming me to my first DC-area event -- it won't be my last! It's always good to be able to put names and faces together with handles -- just promise me there's no test at the next event I attend to see how much I retained.

Ahhh, wish I could have joined all of you. Sadly, I've not been in town for the past three or four DC get-togethers. :(

Who would have dreamed of a vertical tasting of baby Opus at a burger place? :cool: Anyone who missed this one should be kicking themselves in the pants. (Now there's an image to wrap your mind around.)

Anyhoo, Pizzaman, it was great meeting you. I had a had a great time, met some interesting DC-FT newbies and hung around with some old friends.

Still not sure why I let nor4 sneak out with the remainder of the 95 Sterling Cab, but here's hoping it doesn't go to waste. :D

While I'm sure I'll make it out to other happy hours in the future, and pop in on some of the out-of-towners, the Georgetown Five Guys is always available as a location if we want to revisit.
