Well, that was a lot of fun. We had 11 people and Iamapoc won. It seemed like there was an inordinate # of swings in the chip stacks. Definitely my worst game was Razz. I'd never played before and didn't have a good feel for when to stay in and when to fold. Also the only limit games I've played before are pot limit, and it was really tough to chase people out of pots. Maybe you need to be a better player in limit games???? (QL, what sayeth you in that regard?) Well, I can't play next week, but I'll be back. This is a nice cheap way to get some experience playing these games. (Also, does gg mean "good game"?) A question about the play $ Full Tilt gives you, do you get Full Tilt points if you use it in one of the play tournaments? Is there any benefit to using it? thx tls

That was a fun HORSE tournament. Like tls, that was my first time playing some of those games, so it was a cheap way to get some experience. the omaha hi/lo killed me! let's try for an even better turnout next week (it's hard to start with two shorthanded tables because the blinds come around quick!)

tls - i don't think there is any benefit to using the play chips other than for practice - and even that might not give you a good feel because people won't act the way they would with real money.

Regrettably, no poker for me tonight...and it may be a while since classes started back up last night. Next week I'll be going to school both Mondays and Tuesdays. Between work and study, it just isn't in the cards for the foreseeable future. But, I may surprise you all again someday and show up inexpectedly. ;)
