I will be at the Crowne Plaza and happy to organise something in the club lounge.

Also, anyone coming in on SQ 110 on Friday 11th, I have a driver, Ghazali who meets me (in an old Mercedes). We can fit 2-3 in the back for anyone staying in the "golden triangle".

I am also happy on the Friday afternoon to "guide" anyone through Sungei Wang shopping mall.

Late night munchies on Friday night? Or post-arrival munchies on Friday afternoon? Of course I'm from the "no such thing as too much satay in a weekend" school...

Okay, here is my question. I am trying to imagine your satay kajang. In my hometown, we have satay with peanut sauce mixed with soya sauce. This sauce is usually for chicken. Then, there is sweet soya sauce mixed with chopped shallots, chilli, and a touch of lime.
So which one is satay kajang?

CGK, Kajang is a place, not a variety of satay per se

Satay in malaysia is like you describe, along with another side dish called ketupat - or rice cakes.

We have the ketupat and lontong as well.
I thought there is a difference in satay kajang and satay in jakarta. But certainly, I think in Indonesia, sate Padang (West Sumatra) would be different than satay we know in Java.

Now booked for everything but my MH flight KUL-SIN...MM & J7 do you have your seat assigns yet? Keeping my fingers crossed, not for the upgrades to clear (well, yeah okay, I am), but moreso that I make my cnxn at NRT...not much room for error there.

Please consider me a definite for Friday night and Saturday noon
- I may bring a friend, as well. Saturday night probably not, as
I wanted to check out the MH F lounge, but if the taxi situation
at Tamarind Springs is a good one, I might rethink my evening.

I wasn't able to get a seat assignment when I booked MH607 online. I suspect since it's also a shuttle flight that seat assignments are sort of last-minute, even in F. Even on SQ110 SIN-KUL I was only able to select either window or aisle, though I think I'll be able to select a specific seat when I check in online 48 hours prior.

Which connection at NRT are you worried about not making? Hope those upgrades come through!

Thanks for your offers, infoworks! ^

I am on SQ110 on the 11th, but am probably staying at Le Meridien so think it would make sense to take the train, right?
