Quite right. But she's still our mascot and will be with us in spirit!

Crikey, 28 May next year and already booked .

I bet there is only you on that flight at the moment, unless some others off this thread have already booked.

So are you sitting near the other BaliDoer already booked on that flight? (Which also answers MAN Flyer's question )

Hmm I hope nothing change. So, I decided to go ahead with the ticketing. Unfortunately, you are right, I am not the first booker for this flight. A famous and prominent FTer had twatwaffled the booking and E-ticketed for this Bali Do including this party flight in the itinerary.

I finally uploaded my pictures

Hello everybody!

I hope you all are having a great summer, as I have been super busy but I finally got the pictures of my room at the Westin uploaded.

I am either going to stay at the Westin pre-2006-do or during and afterwards. I really enjoyed my stay at the Westin and I hope they have a better deal for the RBC rooms at the time.

Here are my pictures of my room

Thank you for sharing the photos... For 2006 most probably I will go for Sofitel Seminyak again to be a good SO.

Last photo is mangosteen right? White inside with a seed...

CGK you are so right...one of the many fruits which I tried during the Bali-do 2005. I love the mangosteens and I wish that I could find them here!
In any case, I have found a new job which I start August 3 and I am trying to find a decent fare biz class ticket to Bali before I am tied down. If that doesn't work I will try Delta skymiles to get an F tix on Malaysia, I'd love a stopover in KUL.
If anybody can help me or give me suggestions, i.e. buy two separate tickets, I want to stay about 4-5 days, I would certainly appreciate it!

Many thanks,
diana

I knew I should've been paying attention to Kiwi Flyer's sticky.

Please put me down as a "very strong maybe". Almost a yes, but I have to hedge, because I won't know for sure until the beginning of '06.

Please put me on the list of planned attendees. But for those who have never been, keep in mind that Bali is very large (something like 5000 square miles), and transportation is pretty difficult, in my experience. We need to plan hotels pretty carefully if we intend to spend much time as a group. And Nusa Dua, where the largest, fanciest hotels are, is not the most interesting part of Bali by any means.
