I am sure some of us can be enticed to meet an out-of-town FTer for libations. ;)

I am coming back from France on the 4th so I could definitively be available to a New Year HH on the 5th. :)

:cool: I get into IAD at 6:45pm, no checked bags and will have car to travel.

Where is your hotel? Can you meet closer to town or are you staying near Dulles?

If I'm in town, I will meet up with you - my preference is out near IAD but where are you staying/going?

Staying at Hilton Crystal City at Washington Reagan National Airport but have car willing to travel to where the FT'ers are drinkin'

Since you don't get in until 6:45, give it 30 minutes just to get out of the airport and another 15 or so to pick up your rental car (assuming Willie has a quick pickup with whoever he's using), let's shoot for Reston (my preference) or Tysons around 7:30 pm or so. Maybe Fairfax (50/Gallows area), but that means Willie will take a bit longer to get there but its on his way to the hotel.

Hey DC'ers - please speak up since I may very well be out of town on a business trip this week. Does Reston work for you? Who is around?

I really enjoyed tapas at Jaleo's last time, right around the corner from the Hilton hotel. :D

I couldn't make it to Crystal City ... too far for me but if you get enough takers for that venue, go for it. Add at least 30 minutes to that timetable though if you do end up there.

If you can only attend in Tysons or Reston, then I vote for a venue there.

We probably have seen each other at JT's but I have been going to all the home games for the last 2 years (and loved witnessing the 'Noles debacle ^ ).
