Was there an executive decision made as to the location? It seems there will be a growing contingent staying near IAD.

Didn't you get the memo? :o ;)

Yes, we sort of agreed that it makes sense to stay in the reston/herndon area near your hotel for Saturday night dinner, etc. From seeya's post above, it looks like we'll end at Reston Town Center area, but still need to select a dinner location.

another bump to remind everyone of missydarlin in dc on 22-oct. and it is never to early to plan for nov. mcott will be in dc from canada during 18-22 nov. that is the weekend between vetern's day and turkey day weekend.

Hey DC FTers,

Any one up for meeting on the Hill or down town for the next get together? Will be my first to be honest. Softball season is over so Thursdays free and Katrina no longer dominates my life.

I once again propose Jaleo for tapas, either the 7th Street location near the MCI Center or the Crystal City location. Both are convenienyly located near Metro but the Crystal City location has free parking in the building next to it after 5:00 pm ( ^ ).

I know you are just planning for Nov but can we also talk about Dec. I will be in DC in Dec and would like to make a DC happy Hour to meet other FTrs. I would greatly appreciate it if something was planned for Tue, Dec 6th. I will be in town for the NAEYC Early Childhood Conference along with over 25,000 other attendees. The rest of my week looks really busy but I have that evening open. dawn

Tuesday through Thursday November 15-17 sounds good. I can also do Tuesday Dec 6th. I suggest the Brickskeller at 22nd & P NW as a location.

Dec. 6th works for me too and anytime outside of Nov 8th-12th works as well.

Jaleo sounds good to me. There is a branch in Bethesda as well. Now, which location and date?

I did not know they also had a location in Bethesda. How is their food there?

Crystal City gets my vote (I find their food slighly better than at the original DC location) but I can go to any of their locations.

The 15th, 16th or 17th work great for me.
