Didn't hit ATM on way over so if you took mileage earning credit cards, you would have been able to clean us out more at poker. :D

I've never made it to a gathering before and was looking forward to Jan. 5, but with the remote location (I'm in DC and don't have a car), I don't think I'll make it -- unless someone can give me a ride...

I can do it if you need a ride. I live right by the King Street Metro so you can either meet me at my place and we ride together or I can swing by to pick you up if I my partner decides to join us and I go to pick him up in Georgetown.

Sorry if this is too OT, but figured it would be a good spot for DC/BWI area FT request:....I am relocating for work to Baltimore in January. I don't know many people in the area, and have always enjoyed Flyertalkers' company. Would any of you in DC/BWI mind zapping me a PM sometime in January to let me know when your next Happy Hour is..and if it's in DC, if it's within reasonable reach of BWI? (I'm still learning my WAS geography. And, yeah, I know that sounds soooo very calendar co-dependent, (I can see the flames now: "Two words 4 ya', skye: Microsoft Outlook") I've got it noted on my calendar to inquire, nailed on MS Outlook, etc. but as with any move, I've got a zillion details to tie down, a house to pack up & sell or rent, Christmas, etc. etc.). I'd love to do the 5th but will have to play it by ear until we get closer to the date. Reston??? Why not just have it in West Virginia ;) or for that matter, Baltimore (maybe Tazi would show up). Throw us a freaking bone here. DC to beltway and beyond at 7:00PM is a rough trip. Coming in a bit isn't nearly as bad.

Let's go with something in the 50 and 495 area -- we can do SweetWater, Greveys or something in that area (we've done sweetwaters in the past) ... still not sure what business travel plans will be that week. Hoping to be in town for this.

EB - hope this will work for you. Remember I come ALL that way into DC for some of these, so a little ride in the other direction s/be okay for that rare occasion ;)
