Are we still on for tomorrow night, or is May going the way of April?

Tomorrow night works fine. Since I've OD'ed on food in SF/Napa/Somona the last five days, I'm going to vote for sushi. I know I can get us into Blue Ocean as walk-ins but wouldn't mind tryingg Sushisamba either.

Headcount... is it just swag and I or is Dave in after 8 pm? Sushisamba is probably closer to both of you guys.

Oh, hell with it.. I just booked a table for 4 at 8 pm at Sushisamba (at the Galleria). Post here if you are going to attend. I can adjust up or down as needed.

Where exactly in the Galleria is it? Any hints which parking lot/garage is best?

I'd skip the garage and try for a "front" space by Pottery Barn/Grand Lux/The Westin/Oceanaire. Its marked from the outside but its on the tollway side.

A pleasant (and intimate) dinner, and tasty too. Good chatting with both of you.

No firm plans were made for June, so stay tuned. And if anyone else wants to step up to organize that one, feel free.

I'll start the June discussion by posting dates I'm available... maybe if others who are interested can do the same, we can find a date that works well for several and find our organizer that way?

I *might* have a Friday or Saturday that will work but right now those are all looking very iffy at best (and I'm gone completely the last third of the month!)

While we are on discussions, do we want to do a baseball gathering this summer (July/August) like we have the last two years? I didn't renew my Cats tickets this season but we could do that... or we could go for a different part of town and do the Roughriders or Rangers as a switch. (Traditionally we have done this as a Saturday evening with an optional dinner beforehand.)

On topic (sort of)... just watching Channel 8 and I've realized I will miss Dale Hansen bobblehead night at LaGrave on Friday night. Oh the horror!!!:eek: (Will leave it up to you to decide what part of that sentence I find most horrific! ;) :rolleyes: )

To piggy-back on the theme of available dates for June (notice I make no reference to arranging anything).

The only nights I'm in the area are June 17-20 and June 29,30th. Although I'm home on the 17th - that date would be my last choice.

I'm a yes vote for a baseball game outing. My preference would be a RoughRider game -- I've always meant to get to one of those games and this would be a perfect excuse. Plus their location is superior (for me) to either of the other teams

So far the only date of consensus (for the two responses) is June 19.

I would be in for the 19th with Mrs. peteflys. We would also host the event if you want either at the restaurant or my house if you would like. I would cook out at the house and we could have a card game and everyone can test out the wine room. The restaurant is easy most have been there. I will look to techgirl for input.

It's still up in the air whether I will be working on a local or out of town account after next week. If I'm local, pretty much any weeknight works. If not, then they all don't. So don't plan around me, and I'l come if I'm in town.

Most weekends except this one and next are ok too, either way.

I'll ask the other half to respond. She controls the schedule in this household. ;)

I wouldn't mind doing beisbol again this year.
