Sure. I'm almost *definitely* a no as I travel most of the month, but here are the dates that are not completely out of the question right now....

Sun 8 (may have jetlag)
Mon 9
Tues 10
Wed 11 (all those above are a "maybe" - we will be doing a pallet drop one of those days)

Sun 29

That's it for me. Its going to be a *bad* month. Don't factor me in to the plans and I'll show up if it works out.

I will be in DFW (Dallas Westin) on the 7-11th of july..anything going on?

techgirl Jun 29, 2007 8:04 pm

Bueller? Bueller?

Oh yeah, I'm moving to Fort Worth as soon as I sell the present residence....

LRD Jun 30, 2007 12:17 pm

I'm available most days after the 12th.

Maybe we'll get some hits with a couple of suggestions:

A. If we could find an evening, how about Edelweiss in Ft. Worth?

2. Since techgirl has indicated 2 Sundays, a Sunday brunch somewhere? Not sure where... Cheesecake Factory? (Not busy if you go early on Sunday)
I'm not too familiar with centrally located good bruch locations, but I'd be willing to make the reservation...

I'm unavailable 7/18-22.

Other than that, I'm in town, but work's been busy and I'm dealing with shopping for a new car (the old one got totaled, and you try shopping for a convertible in weather like we've been having). So while I'm likely free most nights, there's a good chance I might be a last minute cancel.

A weekend lunch or brunch might be a safer bet for me.

How about brunch on the 29th... if folks want to venture to the "cool" side of the metroplex, Ferre has a great brunch (thinking the new FW location, natch) and you can order bottomless frozen bellinis or mimosas which makes it even more fun.

Save the shopping -- buy a Z4 :) I love mine.

Illini_Fan Jun 30, 2007 6:00 pm

I'd be good for the 29th

swag Jul 2, 2007 7:10 pm

The 29th works for me.

The Z4 doesn't. I'm a bit too practical to get a 2 seater. The 335i is a sweet car, but more than I want to spend.

empedocles Jul 2, 2007 7:49 pm

Sounds OK to me.

Agreed, that 335i is nice looking, but I haven't checked the sticker. The 2-seater works as long as I don't want to carry anything larger than my scuba gear.

Brunch on the 29th would work for me... already have plans that evening.

And Jen... Fort Worth? What, did you feel like you had too short of a commute right now? :)

Let's see - a 1940 craftsman bungalow in a neighborhood that has character (and is "walkable" for dining, bars, shopping) plus being close to family - or a bland townhome in a bland Stepford-area of town.

Hmmmm....

... anyone know anyone who wants a gently broken in, well-kept townhome in Coppell ISD? ;)

According to their website Ferre Fort Worth doesn't do brunch.
