A trend of what? More "Beautiful Room" clubs? More "$30k Millionaires"?

(Just curious... I think both are somewhat sad commentary on the state of superficiality Dallas is in!)

Yes to both. And it is a very sad commentary indeed!

Actually, the "best" worst movie shot in Dallas was Pendulum, in 2000, with Rachel Hunter. I know because it was shot in the M-Streets primarily, right next door to my house then. I can see my house in the movie and have a pic of Rachel and me on my front lawn. :D The rest was shot at SMU, Preston Hollow, the NoTell Motels on Harry Hines and along the Stan's/Dubliner side of Lower Greenville.

Completely forgettable... except for her!

[QUOTE=studley]Also, for March, let's try this:

Cozymel's Mexican Grill

Since I will be making my way to the airport, does anyone know if Cozymel's has a coat room where I can store my bags for a while?

studley Mar 4, 2006 4:12 am

I'm not sure, as this will be my first time going there. However, I'll check into it for you, Bob. :)

Bob - We used to eat lunch there a lot and I don't think I've ever seen anything like a coat room (and keep in mind, the concept of a coat room in sunny Texas is something I was unfamiliar with until I started traveling to the north) but I'm sure the hostesses would be happy to find a place to stash your bag while you are having lunch.

I'll wager that one of us could have room in their car to store things

Bob, if you also need a ride to DFW, we would be happy to help. :)

Just more of that Texas hospitality. ;)

Aggie Girl Mar 6, 2006 3:30 pm

Just to confirm, we're meeting at 12:30 on Sunday 3/12 at Cozymels, correct?

bpauker Mar 6, 2006 5:41 pm

You're all invited to the concert I'm playing in at the Meyerson on 3/12 at 7:30pm. I think that's when it is. It's the Metropolitan Winds and we're doing a really long concert of all kinds of stuff. I wish I could offer free tickets, but unfortunately, none of the musicans get any comps.

See you all at Cozymel's!

aviationkiwi Mar 6, 2006 5:51 pm

I'll be in Dallas from 2:30p to 6pm. Will anyone be around around those times?

studley Mar 6, 2006 6:47 pm

I tried to post a time in the middle of when both you and Bob would be available. Will you be able to make it to Cozymel's?

aviationkiwi Mar 6, 2006 8:45 pm

Yes. I already know where Cozymels is at, so should be a snap to get there.
