March 12th is the beginning of my (and a lot of other people's) spring break so I might be around, might be in Austin.

Jack, previously one of the regular bartenders at Martini Ranch, has moved on to elsewhere, but Abel (who's been there for a while) should be there on Friday night. Went down there last Wednesday with a friend and had a very drunken night (neither of us work Thursdays)... something about that place I just like.

3ata was supposed to ride with me, but since I'm not leaving until later, I'm not sure if she will be joining us.

I'm not going to make it after all. I've been feeling blah all week and this afternoon I started to feel really yucky. Have fun tonight.

I'm afraid I'm out too. In addition to the nasty weather (which has knocked out my power twice in the last hour), I'm still fighting the crud that has been kicking my butt for almost two weeks now. What's worse, it has rendered me speechless - LITERALLY - I've had laryngitis since Monday and can't seem to get my voice back.

I'm having problems here that will now force me to cancel. Among them, I'm in the middle of packing for my flight to MSY tomorrow, and my printer's giving me grief printing my itineraries - now I can't print my boarding pass so I have to get it at the airport.

I sure wish I'd checked on here before I drove over there tonight. I waited for 30 minutes and didn't see anyone. I finally threw in the towel and just came home. Maybe next month then.

Come on bpauker... I've SEEN the scenery (of both genders) that frequents Martini Ranch. Surely you could have found better looking company than some gnarly FTers. ;)

At some point, we're going to have to try to meet at Martini Ranch again.

Especially since techgirl mentioned that there's SCENERY there. ;)
