It's at least 30 minutes by train including transfers and probably another 10 minutes to/from each station so I would plan for an hour.

Friday evening venue

Since I haven't seen any suggestions for a place to meet after the game Friday evening, and I need to meet SeeYa somewhere in DC, I took it upon myself to pick a place. :D

Unless someone comes up with a better suggestion, we will be chugging beer at Bullfeathers. This is located down/across the street from the Capitol South metro stop conveniently located on the orange/blue lines just 3 short stops from RFK/Armory station. Seems like a nice sports type bar :)

March 13 - 8:30pm til ?
Bullfeathers of Capitol Hill
410 1st Street SE

Seeya doesn't "chug," she sips demurely. ;)

This sounds like an excellent suggestion! I'll update the main page when I get a minute.

ILuvParis, so nice to be understood, by a gentleman of discretion. :D ;)

And I'd like to state that I do not drink beer at all! It is all evaporation, you know. ;)

Fine Caribbean rum, if I recall, mixed with that nectar from Atlanta. :)

FYI, I went to the Mets vs Nationals game this past Saturday night at RFK. Had a great time there -- good food and good drink! Y'all should have a great time there...wish I coulda gone.

That's good to hear. Any particular food specialties??

And the Saturday tickets have finally arrived.

Typical of this team, the seating is a little wacky. We were told "25 seats in rows 2-5." That's what we got:

Row 2: seats 12-18
Row 3: seats 14-18
Row 4: seats 14-18
Row 5: seats 11-18

Hello?? Why not seats 13-18 in all four rows plus one seat 12?

Tickets will be mailed out tomorrow to those who have asked for them to be mailed out.

If you think of it and have time, may I have mine tomorrow? Then, if our flight is late Friday, we won't need to make special arrangements. And don't forget, Madame President asked to sit next to ME! We wouldn't want to disappoint her. ;)

I think I can take care of both requests.

I would like to sit behind missy so I can chuck things at her during the game. Thanks.

The Italian sausage and peppers were good, but I cannot comment on the hoagie roll as I ate it Atkins style!

WHat section are your seats in?

ILuvParis May 2, 2005 2:46 pm

Never mind
