fredmartens didn't look in the bag I left on his doorstep last night, so the "party favor" didn't make it to DC

ILuvParis, JockdAAddy, and fredmartens were all stuck in Chicago on ground delays and missed the game, but didn't miss the post party. Sadly, ILP and JD spent their ground delay in coach seats. :eek:

There were a lot of hunky police officers frequenting Bullfeathers and while they arent quite as cool as NYC firemen, they were certainly worth photographing :D

fredmartens doesn't drink fast enough at closing time.

If you're being belligerent with the bartender who is telling you to drink faster, its helpful if DLNewbie has your back.

Wireless' upgrade cleared so he is comfortably ensconced in UA FC for his redeye to DC.

Well, yabba dabba! Finally made it to Bullfeathers at 11:15PM, courtesy of a nice delay at ORD. I would have been there earlier, but it seems my limo driver from the Homewood couldn't find Bullfeathers...although I gave him the directions (sober) and a map at least 5 times....

Shouldn't complain about my 2 hour ORD RJ ramp time after hearing about how long the two Jeffs sat at ORD. Nice turnout, cool to finally meet the zipper and a FT newbie who had his cherry popped courtesy of a Padron tequila shot (who shall remain nameless). Gracious thanks to Spiff and Newbie for the entry drinks and shots, they were greatly needed after the 13 hour journey today. I hope I never have to sit in an ER4 seat for 4+ hours again...even if it was 12A.

Tonight's Bullfeathers' attendees included, among other wonderful FT'ers that I'll probably space out here (sorry!), tazi & stuart, goingaway, seeya, BoyAreMyArmsTired, FlyinHawaiian, jockdAAdy, iluvparis, DLNewbie, ElmhurstNick (the grand marshall of the Do), EdisonCarter, Zarco :D, the zipper and the new guy that was force fed his tequila shot...well, not really...

Many thanks to DLNewbie for the ride back to the Homewood Suites...we really would have taken the Metro, but it was kinda late and all...good times, and the Cubbies won. We missed Missy greatly, seems she's at home battling a sinus infection and dealing with calculus homework, not to mention the AS FT forum drama now that 400+ former AS ramp workers are out of work...but that's a story for another day.

I didn't realize there was a bra hanging in a bag on my front door at 5 AM when I left for SeaTac...else there would be some better pictures courtesy of goingaway. Sounds like Wireless was well ensconsed with a vodka tonic in the SFO RCC as we left the "Right Coast" bar tonight, so I'm sure there will be better "DC Do" reports tomorrow night.

Before I forget, thanks to Techgirl for allowing Zarco to get "off the hook" for AAsia Do...I hereby promise not to bring more than a fifth of assorted duty free liquors for the short ride DFW-EZE. Zipper, you're now officially on the hook for Cow Do. Remember, it's a non stop on UA from IAD. We are still looking for more victims for N'Awlins Do June 10-12 if folks are otherwise unoccupied.

Hey, we was all havin' fun until the barkeep tried to grab my half full beer at 12:30 A.M. while telling us to "get the .... out"... it's a good thing that Newbie was feelin' benevolent tonight...I wanted to smack the pup...and this is just an abbrieved anecdote from Friday night... :D

Either way, I think if it had come to it the first annual DC RUMBLE DO would have had a happy ending for the FT crew. :D

The hunky cops weren't at Bullfeathers, they are all over town ... big memorial thing going on on Sunday for them. I'll get you pics, even if we have to drive around Sunday just for that ;)

A rain delay "forced" most of the FTers back to fredmartens suite, where much drinking ensued. They managed to pop 9 bags of popcorn without setting off the firealarm ... much to the dismay of SeeYa who was hoping to see some firemen (i've taught her well). 90% of popcorn has since been ground into the carpet. Wireless is dismayed at the porn selection offered by the Homewood, whereas fredmartens is dismayed at the idea of funding the porn habits of anyone other than himself.

Attempts to purge the room of FTers have included turning up the thermostat and turning off the lights. As of the last phone call, none had succeeded. SeeYa had just poured herself a rum and coke and "wasn't going anywhere."

Meanwhile, MileageAddict was on a bed with several women and thought I would be able to provide further instruction. He was referred to DLNewbie. Had he been on a bed with several men, I may have been able to help.

Somewhere around 10pm EDT, the delayed game actually started and some of the suite-ed FTers left to join ILuvParis and jockdAAddy who waited patiently at the stadium throughout the electrical storm to see their cubbies. As of the last phone call..cubbies were sadly behind.
