Dovster Nov 4, 2004 12:02 pm

Mary2e is, indeed, going to kidnap me in EWR on Saturday. She is using a kosher salami sandwich on seeded rye as bait. I am not certain why she wants to kidnap me, but I am hoping it is in order to carry out a sexual assault upon my body.

Don't count on it...it's your money I'm after :D ^

Safe travels Dov.

Awesome! I was under the impression that these 'taxis' were, for whatever reason, the size of a London cab, and only held 4ish people with not that many bags.

I will relax in the bar from 12-2:30ish and then seek out the Cholulas in the arrivals area.

If you "relax" in the bar for 2 1/2 hours, we'll probably be able to load you in the water taxi as luggage....:D.

Well, I suppose Dovster lying to you is better than having him lie with you...

You've got a point there ;).

Now, to call the deli and make sure they include some poison along with that salami on rye ^^^

There is no need to include poison, Mary2e.

Just tell them to prepare the sandwich with mayonnaise instead of mustard.

If Dovster enjoys a real Kosher sandwich from an authentic Kosher delicatessen, mayonnaise will provide the same effect — if not worse — than poison...

Won't work... it's a real kosher deli. They won't do it. I'd have to bring it home and put it on there myself. Unwrapping it would give it away.

Plus.... eeewwwwwww, mayonaise on salami? Do you think I'm from the midwest to even THINK of such an idea? :D :D :D

BUT, underpressure's suggestion is outstanding and giving me ideas ^.

Mayonnaise is considered pareve, not dairy, so it still conforms to Kosher dietary laws.

That does not mean it conforms to Kosher taste laws.

Fear not, Mary2e — just have them add lettuce and other green things that are good for one’s diet. That is one aversion of Dovster that will steer (no pun intended) him away from that sandwich...

underpressure Nov 4, 2004 2:10 pm

and don't worry about that cloudy gin I buy you next week Mary!

I've come up with an alternate sandwich idea for Dovster.
Rather than the salami on rye, pick up an oyster po' boy.
It'll be dark outside, he will be surrounded by a cloud of smoke and will be so hungry for a good NY deli sandwich that it'll be down his gullet it sinks in what he's consumed.

Time-lapsed view of Dovster's face as he greedily consumes the oyster po'boy:

:)
