Yes. My Used Italian Girlfriend is 26.
(Actually, she isn't, but I figured if she ever finds this board I had better have something on it to counterbalance everything else I've written.) I believe there are two other people attending who are below 30 but they will have to tell you that themselves. Ah, good. You brought my hopes up and then summarily crushed them in one blow. Why not just nudge her awake and tell her to run out to Denny's and bring something back to the house? Ha! Good one, Dov. You should see the amount of hassle required just to go to breakfast with her - not that long ago it actually required sneaking her out a window. To actually get her out of her house for a night... well, let's just say that's no longer worth it . |

I really need to have a good head-count so that I can confirm the meals and reservations. The back room of Vini da Gigio holds 27 persons and we can have about 6 more tables in the smoking salon. We are unable to charter the entire restaurant as they already have some tables booked for that evening. The reservation is from 7:30-9:30 but, Paulo, the owner/mgr. said that they open the restaurant for dinner at 7:00 PM so we are welcome to arrive at 7 :00 for aperetives.
I would appreciate your e-maling me the number of people in your party. Thanks, O2K [email protected] I would appreciate if we could focus on this post at the moment. I really do need an accurate tally of those who are attending. Please note that this is a very small restaurant. Thanks, O2K |

Just priced the RT tkt NCE-VCE (Alitalia, change planes in Rome):
$163.00 plus $109.41 for taxes? This is for returning on Sunday for the 6:30a.m. flight. If I want to return on Sunday at 6:20p.m., the fare jumps to $928.20! No, I am not going back to NCE on Sunday. ;) Note to platbrownguy: Tentatively, I will be arriving VCE on Friday, the 19th at around 2:30p.m. Could wait for you to share a water taxi if you wish. |

$163.00 plus $109.41 for taxes? . My original itinerary (fortunately changed) had me flying TLV-MXP-EWR-FLL and then MIA-CDG-MXP and eventually MXP-TLV. My total taxes were $86.10, of which $13 were Israeli. When you finalize your plans let me know and I will update the first page of this thread. |
Our alpieagles flight VCE-NAP was priced at E19 per pax, but after the taxes were added in, it came to E124 for the two tickets. I don't have the list of taxes right at hand, but it seemed to be as long as my arm.
O2K, you have mail. |
O2K, we are both in for dinner. While Hunki eats anything, I only eat grilled skinless white chicken meat, grilled fish, brown rice, vegetables and fruit. I eat no fried foods, red meat, white bread, cream sauces or dessert. I don't mind paying 52 Euros for dinner if they can prepare good food that I can eat--i.e. massive mixed salads with grilled chicken breasts and olive oil based dressing (on the side) and vegetables and/or brown rice--but I will be very disappointed to pay that much if they can't meet my dietary restrictions.
If they can't, just let me know and I will eat before I come and just enjoy the company and perhaps some wine. :) |

From what I've read on the web, Vini di Gigio is an excellent choice for the dinner. ^ ^ I'm looking forward to it.
I'm not into adventure eating but this seems like a great Italian dining experience. I've decided to eat whatever comes my way and not ask what it is unless I really like it and will want to order it again. |
