My car is now full on Friday from MCI to the The Westin. If anyone needs anything from Walmart please let me know!

I'm driving a one-way rental car up from SGF (pickup Friday ~1:30pm, drop-off @ MCI Tuesday ~1:30pm; depending on plans, I may try to return it to Hertz @ the Westin Friday evening if I do make it there before they close at 5pm and if they don't re-rate my current absurdly cheap daily rate). I'm staying at the Westin Friday and Saturday.
I will probably raid my wine cellar again before departing home. I hope someone has a suite to gather in.
GW McLintock -- I may be interested in joining you for your ghost town adventures Sunday.

I believe the majority are staying at the Westin or very close to it! I can take five passenger in my car (and a bit of luggage if necessary). Looks like the weather is going to be great next weekend! We dodged some severe storms this weekend.
As some final reminders, Char Bar wants to put us all on one check, so please be prepared to pay via cash or Venmo/Zelle/Paypal. It worked quite well last year with Q39, so I am hopeful for the same this year
I look forward to seeing you all on Friday! I work Thursday night, so I plan to be in KC around noon.

We (miniCT, MrsCT, and I) are arriving Thursday 8pm and departing Monday 10am, staying at Hotel Kansas City. Since I’ll have a toddler with me I probably won’t be able to attend everything but will do what I can.

Friday’s dinner may be a challenge as we’ve filled 20/20 seats given by Char Bar. Had we gone above, they were going to require the much more expensive group dining. I will see if we can make an additional reservation for three if you’re hoping to join. I didn’t realize you’d booked flights as your initial post only said you had hotels, so I apologize.

FYI. Upgrades are starting to process for the The Westin. I got a parlor suite which I think is what beckoa had last year.

It’s not a worry. I didn’t get an update in on time. Hopefully the wiki becomes functional again for the next event. It will probably be just me for dinner so I can lurk on a waitlist and join if there’s a cancellation. Still plenty of other stuff happening this weekend

As a reminder for everybody else, if you plan to go to J. Rieger (even if you don't do the whiskey tour), I HIGHLY recommend signing up for their FREE membership program as it comes with a free cocktail and discounts on whiskey purchased in store. More info. is here - https://www.jriegerco.com/family

There was a very helpful reminder at the beginning of the thread about booking hotels early, and I could have sworn I had heeded it, but apparently not
I booked the Westin. Was going to do the Sheraton across the street to save $40 a night, but I'm very leery of anything with <4.0 rating on the Marriott app (not that the Westin is great at 4.0 on the nose, but my experience in generally at 3.9 and under things start to get underwhelming pretty quickly). Anyone with knowledge of the properties have a view?
I know some people were talking about the TWA museum on Friday afternoon. I get in too late for that, but if anyone is interested for Sunday (after a BBQ brunch! - priority #1 for the weekend), I'm potentially down - flight is at 3:10PM.
Alternately, I see the US National WWI Museum is across the street from the Westin, anyone interested in checking that out at some point? I knew it was in KC but wasn't going to bother on this trip until I saw where it was.

Westin folks, check your Chase card offers -- just got one for 10% off (I already had a bunch of individual offers for various Marriott brands, but not Westin until today...)
I'd be interested in that, especially since I only got to half of it the first time I visited due to something coming up unexpectedly.
Will also put in another plug for the Arabia Steamboat museum.
