For those not at J Rieger, we’re planning to travel to holland’s residence NE of MCI around 5:30pm. PM me if you don’t have the address. A group of us were going to pickup snacks from Costco (pizza and others) prior to arrival. Let me know if you’ve got any allergy’s, etc..!

Last call — leaving the Westin at 5:30pm for Holland’s. I’m in the lobby with a box of wine.

If anyone is still at the Westin or other downtown hotel and might like to split an Uber to Holland's, let me know.

Ghost town plan for tomorrow: holland will pick us up at the The Westin and we will depart at 0815. Bring luggage if you are flying out. We will be back at MCI by 1600.

Huge thanks to holland for hosting us at his property! Like last year, it was a wonderful night with good weather, good and great conversations with friends!
For those not attending the ghost tour tomorrow, there is a plan to visit Slap’s in KCK tomorrow morning. They open at 11am, so I plan to be in the lobby around 10:20 and leave around 10:40.

Thanks for a fun weekend. It was good catching up with friends I’ve not seen in a while and meeting some new folks (trying to put handles to names and faces will keep me challenged). It’s time for me to head south. Hopefully I’ll be able to return next year.

We’re headed to Tiki Huna for a cocktail (with a nearby playground) and then onward to the KC Northern Railroad 16” gauge miniature railway.

It's time to say goodbye, for now, to Kansas City. A big thank you to FriendlySkies for organizing another excellent DO, thanks also to GW McLintock for setting up the party-central suite, and thank you holland for hosting the Saturday evening get together.
And I'm also grateful to HPN-HRL, jackal, and FriendlySkies for the various rides I hitched. Everything, except the sad loss of cocobird's umbrella, worked out very well. Let's not forget jackal's wine contribution, and of course GW McLintock for pizza.
Be well, my friends, as we look forward to our next gathering.

We are 10 minutes from the airport. The ghost town tour was a success, followed by Mexican food for Cinco De Mayo and of course cheese at the Alma Creamery.
