Edit: Whoops - Wrong week. 09/26 does indeed show a 1:25 PM start. I guess we need some collective FT info if they know what Rams games at SoFi Stadium have on LAX traffic on Sundays. And seating space at neighborhood good eats/drinks places.

Im a very strong maybe for the event (depends on when and where) as to the traffic: 105, Century Blvd , La Brea and Prairie are fairly busy on game days! How do I know, I have season tickets and I just sold my parking for the Tampa Bay game in the brown section for $175 on Ticketmaster. There is not enough on site parking for about 50% of the crowd, therefore lots of satellite parking in Inglewood Lots, Buses and Rideshares galore..
However, I dont think LAX/Sepulveda are that affected.

Late 60s through mid 70s, we'd often make it from my parents' house to my grandparents' house in under 30 minutes (101 to 405 to 10). Not at peak hours, but those were more limited in duration than now. So, yes, there was a good time. Also, during the 1984 Olympics was a great time - virtually no traffic for two weeks.

Richmond bar and Grill, is around the corner and serves really good hamburgers and homemade chips.
Further down the street theres Slice and Pint a pizza spot thats outdoors and has good pizza. In fact all the locations that Ive mentioned have some form of outdoor seating if required
Rinaldis a local deli makes great sandwiches which we can take over to Imperial Hill for some plane spotting, there are a few tables we can eat at..
David mentioned you have been in conversation and considering a brewery in Torrance.. That makes it a little less appealing to me, but I could make it happen
so far it looks like its the three of us.
If any of the traffic reporters want to join us that would be great😀

The El Segundo area presents several opportunities. The Brewport has a unique self pour concept (You could pour your own beer and wine in increments of an ounce or less, or more if you choose) Fun way to taste many different beers.

Just talked with Mrs. DELee: she suggests the Far Field Beer Company (https://farfieldbeer.square.site/) in nearby Lawndale as our next stop.
Apparently something to do with RF engineering...but with good beer...
